Guest portal languages (22 languages, RTL)

Choose the languages and default language of the guest page; right-to-left languages, translation review and the language fallback for legal texts.

CustomerLast updated: Open in panel

The guest portal can open in 22 languages. Arabic, Persian and Hebrew pages are drawn right to left. The guest's language is picked from the browser language, and the guest can change it in the language switcher.

In this guide

  • Setting the customer language catalogue (all hotspots).
  • Turning a language on in a hotspot's design.
  • Translation review and the legal text fallback.

Turn languages on

  1. On Hotspots, open the Design screen of a hotspot.
  2. In the Portal languages (all hotspots) section of the Texts tab, turn languages on, order them and choose the default. This catalogue applies to all your hotspots.
  3. On the same tab, also turn the language on in this hotspot's design and publish the design.

Two steps are needed

The guest page shows the languages that are on both in the customer catalogue and in the hotspot design. When you turn a new language on in the catalogue, edit and publish each existing hotspot's design so it appears there too.

Translation review

The interface texts of the 16 languages beyond the first six are model translations and are marked Translation under review in the panel. The mark stays until a native speaker reviewer approves them. You can write your own title and description texts for each language on the Texts tab.

Legal texts

The privacy notice and terms of use are never published by machine translation. When you have no published text in the guest's language, the following is shown, in this order, with a note saying which language the text is shown in:

  1. Your published text in your default language.
  2. The platform template: the guest's language, otherwise your default language, otherwise Turkish.

Add your texts after your lawyer approves them, as in Legal texts (KVKK).
