Server status and background jobs
Read the status of the VPN (WireGuard, L2TP/IPsec) and FreeRADIUS services, the worker heartbeat, the RADIUS queue, the device last-seen summary, Law 5651 log silence and the timestamp alarm.
The Server Status page shows the health of the platform server on one screen. Refresh it with Refresh.
Not a public status page
This screen is for administrators only. For the independent public status page, uptime percentages and incident notices, see the Status page guide.
Service cards
| Card | Shows |
|---|---|
| WireGuard | Installed, Interface Up, Configuration, Active Peers (RouterOS 7 devices) |
| L2TP/IPsec | Service status (RouterOS 6.49 devices) |
| FreeRADIUS | Service Running, Database Connected, Total RADIUS Users, Active RADIUS Sessions |
| Environment Variables | Whether required environment variables are set (values are not shown) |
If the Setup Required warning appears, a service is not configured; run the command in the warning on the server.
Background jobs (worker)
The Background Jobs (Worker) card shows the state of the worker process: Running, Not responding, Stopped or Never ran. Without the worker the RADIUS queue is not processed, expired guests and subscriptions are not closed and the Law 5651 seal and timestamp jobs do not run.
- RADIUS queue: pending and failed jobs writing guest accounts to RADIUS. If failures grow, check the RADIUS database connection.
- Device last seen: device last-seen buckets (≤15 min, ≤24 h, old, never).
- 5651 log silence: devices with guests but no RADIUS accounting records. Law 5651 records may be missing on these devices; check the router's RADIUS accounting setting (Device problems).
- 5651 timestamp: daily seal batches without a timestamp. If the alarm shows, check access to and credentials for the timestamp service.
- The job table shows the last run of every scheduled job (Succeeded, Failed, Timed out …).
Commonly checked jobs
| Job | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| RADIUS sync queue | Guest logins and speed profiles reach RADIUS |
| Expired guests | Expired guests are dropped |
| Subscription expiry and suspension | Customers with ended subscriptions become read-only |
| 5651 daily seal (hash chain, Merkle) | Daily Law 5651 seals |
| 5651 retention and destruction | Destruction of days past retention |
| 5651 legal export | Legal export ZIPs |
The WhatsApp (Platform) card shows the readiness of the WhatsApp infrastructure; WhatsApp login is coming soon.
