Panel users and roles
Which roles exist in the panel, who creates the accounts and how to add colleagues to your business with fixed roles (owner, manager, front desk, read-only).
Panel accounts and guest accounts are different things. A panel user signs in to the panel and manages settings; a guest only connects to the Wi-Fi and cannot open the panel (Guest users).
Roles
| Role | What it does | Who creates the account |
|---|---|---|
| Administrator (platform) | Manages all customers, resellers, packages, the website and the system | Created when the platform is set up |
| Reseller | Opens their own customers, sells packages from credit, sets up PMS | The platform administrator |
| Customer (business) | Devices, hotspots, login page, guests, Law 5651 and KVKK screens | Self sign-up, an administrator or a reseller |
You can sign in with a username or an email address. Two-factor authentication is required by default for every panel user: see Account security.
Team members and roles
Several people can sign in to your business panel. Each person signs in with their own username, password and two-factor authentication; the audit log shows actions per person. Only the account owner sees the screen: Users and roles.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything: billing, settings and user management. |
| Manager | Everything except billing and user management. |
| Front desk | Guests, voucher codes and sessions. No billing or settings. |
| Read-only | View only; cannot make changes. |
- On the Users and roles page, press Add user.
- Enter the first name, last name and an email or username, choose the role and press Add.
- Send the temporary password or invitation link, shown only once, to the person over a secure channel. On first sign-in they set their own password and set up 2FA.
- You can change the role from the list or take the person out with Remove; the removed person's sessions are closed.
- The account owner (the user who opened the account) and the last owner cannot be removed or demoted.
- Pages the role does not allow are hidden from the menu; someone who opens the address directly sees a "your role does not allow this" notice. Permissions are checked on the server.
- Only the owner role manages platform agreements, support access and billing.
Reseller and administrator accounts
- The platform administrator creates reseller accounts and loads their credit. See Reseller credit and groups.
- If an administrator or reseller created your customer account, the first login uses a temporary password and you are asked to set a new one.
- An administrator can close an account's sessions or reset its 2FA; these actions are written to the audit log.
