Packages and prices
As an administrator create packages, set monthly and yearly prices, device, hotspot and user limits, the feature list and order; deactivate or delete a package.
Packages are shown from the same source on the website's pricing page, on the upgrade screen of the customer panel and in the reseller price list.
Create a package
- On the Packages page press Add New Package.
- Enter a Package Name and an optional description.
- Enter Monthly Price and Yearly Price. A billing cycle without a price cannot be sold (the reseller price list shows it as not for sale).
- Limits: Maximum Devices, Maximum Hotspots and Maximum Users. 0 means unlimited.
- Add the items shown on the website and the upgrade screen to Features.
- Set the order with Display Order and the highlighted package with Default?; save with Active? ticked.
Truthful feature lists
Feature items are a promise to customers. Do not list a feature that does not work yet (for example WhatsApp login, FortiGate support, marketing automation) as available; add "coming soon" if needed. Paid packages start with payment; items must not promise a trial. The pricing page builds the module list from the package entitlements and hides items that mention a module the package does not include.
Changing prices and limits
- A new price applies to later purchases and renewals; completed payments do not change.
- For reseller sales the cost is calculated from the list price and group discount at the time of sale (price calculation).
- To change one customer's limits only, use the Ayarlar (settings) section on the customer detail page (Customer management).
Deactivate and delete
- An inactive package does not appear on the website, the upgrade screen or the reseller price list; existing customers are not affected.
- A package with customers or payment records cannot be deleted; deactivate it instead. The financial history is kept.
